I think I have a new realization this week.  When I'm in America, I get comfy and I blend into the background-so totally a pro at this.  But here its different.  Last year, I realized that being the only special ed teacher on the elementary side, people actually wanted to know what I thought about stuff.  This year, I became proactive and I've been trying to step into that roll of someone who might actually know something.  Its actually cool when people think my opinion means something. So this year I started an elementary drama club and I actively do my job.  And I actually think I might know what I'm doing.  Its stressful on some levels but on other levels it makes me feel confident. I'm so in my element now. :)
